Guardianships / Adoptions

Our firm has an experienced adoption practice, addressing the individual needs of the adopting parent with consideration of potential grandparent rights. We work with adoption agencies, the state Department of Child Services, and individuals focusing on the needs and best interests of the child.

When the need for a guardianship arises, whether because the potential ward is a minor, the potential ward is mentally incompetent, or because the person displays an inability to handle his / her personal or business affairs, our firm will handle the court transactions for setting up a guardianship or conservatorship. We also prepare the inventories and accountings as required by the court.
